Studies have suggested that the majority of the people you meet make subconscious decisions about you based on your appearance. Dentists at Precise Dental Surgery here can help ensure your smile is white and bright.
We can provide both in-chair whitening and take home teeth whitening kits using the Pola whitening system technology. Once we have discussed your whitening goals with you we can help identify whether the take-home or in-chair treatment would be best suited to your particular aesthetic aspirations.

Pola whitening is a leading dental brand that helps us provide patients with what we believe to be an effective professional teeth whitening treatment. The Pola whitening system features a unique blend of soothers, conditioners and a high water content that can whiten your teeth and even potentially reduce teeth decay.
We offer both the in-chair Pola whitening and Polanight, a take-home whitening kit, to ensure that your treatment suits your lifestyle.
The in-chair Pola treatment can be a desirable option for those who wish to have their whitening treatment taken care of by our dental professionals. Opting to receive in-chair teeth whitening means you can relax back in the dental chair and let our dental professionals take care of the rest.
The take-home Polanight treatment can be suitable for those who wish to whiten their smile while they sleep, in the convenience of their own home. We will ensure that you are confident with the steps you need to take at home, as well as ensuring that your whitening tray is suited to the shape of your smile.
It is extremely important that you choose a dental professional to help you whiten your smile with a whitening treatment that has been developed by dental professionals as well. A dental professional is trained to handle your dental health with efficiency and skilled care in all treatments.
Teeth whitening treatments are often made with a powerful dental solution in order to produce the most effective results. The reality of this means that if the whitening gel is not applied or prescribed by a dental professional then you can run the risk of damaging your gums and the soft tissues in your mouth, as well as damaging the teeth.
Additionally, it is important not only that you see a dentistry before you receive any teeth whitening treatment, it is also crucial that you purchase you whitening treatment from a dentist or a dental company. Over the counter whitening kits can potentially be harmful as the levels of peroxide can be too high which can burn your gums and potentially damage your teeth by stripping the enamel. Over the counter purchased kits also often to not provide the same level of results as a teeth whitening treatment supplied by a dentist.
During your initial consultation we can discuss with you which whitening treatment is best suited to your smile and your lifestyle.
What is Pola Whitening?
Pola whitening is an effective teeth whitening product that we use here at Precise Dental Surgery to help ensure our patients can smile with confidence. We provide in-chair and take home teeth whitening treatments.
What are Dental Veneers?
Dental veneers are small thin porcelain shells that are placed directly on top of your teeth. They can eliminate gaps between teeth, tooth discolouration and broken / chipped teeth.
What are Dental Crowns?
Like veneers, dental crowns are made of porcelain and act as a cap or crown for your teeth. They are often combined with dental bridges to replace missing teeth.
When should my child start seeing the dentist?
We recommend your child starts visiting the dentist from an early age, preferably when they are around 7 years old.
What is the difference between conventional braces and Invisalign?
There are many differences between Invisalign and conventional braces. For example, with Invisalign you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing as Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible. Invisalign aligners are also removable meaning you can brush and floss as you would normally – this is something you cannot do with conventional braces. Despite this, conventional braces can be a more suitable option for those with more subnational orthodontic concerns.
What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are widely considered the modern solution to missing teeth and dentures. Replace missing teeth with dental implants which act and feel like normal teeth. They consist of a titanium screw-like post which is implanted into the jawbone. The implant will then bond with your jawbone to provide stimulation and support for a dental crown or bridge.
What is a root canal?
The root canal is the space within the root of a tooth. Root canal treatment is recommended for patients with infected tooth pulps. The best indication of infection is severe dental pain or sensitivity.
How can you restore my smile?
Advancements in dental technology allow us to completely restore a patient’s smile. There are a variety of treatments that may be suggested. Because often modern jaws are not big enough to accommodate these extra teeth, in the majority of cases we do recommend they are removed. We recommend you come into our practice for a thorough examination to determine the path we take in ensuring your dental health.
I am afraid of the dentist. Do you offer virtually pain free dentistry?
For anxious patients, we provide a number of pain management options including happy gas and sleep dentistry to ensure that these patients can receive the dental work they need. To learn more please visit our sleep dentist page.
How often should I visit the dentist for a dental check-up?
